Woolpip

Woolpip terms of use

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and RandomFuse LLC ("we", "us") about your use of Woolpip, our row and stitch counter for knitting and crochet. By using Woolpip you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

If you got Woolpip from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, alongside these terms. For matters between you and the App Store, where Apple's agreement and these terms conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.

1. Using Woolpip

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Woolpip on devices you own or control, for your own use, under these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.

Your own use includes counting your own work that you sell or teach.

Please don't:

2. Accounts

You can use Woolpip without an account. If you sign in:

3. Free use and Woolpip Pro

4. Your content

Your content is yours. That includes your projects, counts, notes and the pattern files you import. We don't claim any ownership of it.

What you allow us to do with it. You give us only the permission we need to store, copy and send your content between your devices so that Woolpip works:

That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the short periods in our privacy policy.

Patterns and copyright. Only import pattern files you have the right to use, such as patterns you bought, were given, or wrote yourself. Woolpip keeps your files private to your account and has no way to share them with anyone else. We don't sell, publish or distribute patterns.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content stored through Woolpip infringes your copyright, write to us at support@randomfuse.com.

5. Our content

The app, its design, text, icons and the "Woolpip" name belong to us or our licensors. Open-source components are listed in Settings → Licenses, under their own licenses.

6. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Woolpip reliable, and counting works offline. Still:

If we ever stop offering sync, we'll tell you at least 90 days before, so that you can export your data first.

7. No warranty

Woolpip is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied: no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and no promise that the app will be error-free. Keep your own copies of important data; the free export is there for that.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about Woolpip is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Woolpip in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using Woolpip at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we do, we'll tell you why where we can, and you can still export your data from the app on your device.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and disputes go to the courts in Broward County, Florida. If you're a consumer in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Woolpip after that, you accept the new terms.
